Instructions For Dr. McFadden’s
Cataract Surgery Patients
Second Visit After Surgery

Continue to Use BOTH of the following medications as directed:

1. ANTIBIOTIC (from before operation)
Vigamox
(moxifloxacin hydrochloride)
or
Ocuflox
(ofloxacine)
(See Antibiotic Options)

4 x per day in operated eye for 5 more days, then stop



AND

2. ANTI-INFLAMMATORY
Voltaren Ophtha
(diclofenac sodium)

4 x per day
for 1 more week

3 x per day
for next week

2 x per day
for next week

1 x per day
for last week.

Then stop
.

4 weeks total from the first day following your second post-op appointment.

Please continue to take all regular medications unless otherwise indicated by your doctor(s).

if you have any problems such as pain or sudden change in vision.
